From the Concrete Jungle to Beaches & Farms

Every Chapter of Movement Lives in Me

I spent over twenty years living and working in New York City's concrete jungle. Steel-toe boots. Ladders. Tools. Construction environments that demanded strength, endurance, and constant adaptation.

But my story didn't start there. As a child, I already had movement habits I didn't question — leaning onto one side, crossing the same leg, carrying bags unevenly.

Today, I live in Delaware — surrounded by beaches, open space, and farms. The environment is different. The pace is different. But movement is still at the center of my life.

My Philosophy

Our surroundings may change. Our bodies may change. Our movement needs will change.

But our ability to learn how to move well can support us through every stage of life.

Why Taylor To Fit Exists

Built From Lived Experience — Not Theory

What I've learned is simple: Movement is not one-size-fits-all. What works for one body may not work for another. What once worked for your body may not work the same way today.

🏗️

Decades of Demand

Years in physically demanding work taught me how the body adapts — for better and for worse.

🌿

Injury & Recovery

Personal experiences with injury and recovery shaped how I teach — with patience, awareness, and respect.

🎓

Professional Training

Pilates, corrective exercise, and health coaching — blended with real-world understanding.

🔄

Ongoing Learning

A continuing commitment to understanding how the body adapts over time.

My Approach

Education Meets Experience

My work blends Pilates-based movement, corrective exercise principles, functional training, breath and awareness, and lifestyle-based movement education.

I don't believe in forcing the body into movement. I believe in learning what the body is capable of — and adjusting from there.

Because movement is not only physical — it is emotional, social, and deeply personal.

My Promise

Movement itself remains one of the most powerful tools we have for living fully.

I will continue learning. I will continue refining my understanding of my own body and the bodies I work with. And I will continue teaching in a way that respects where each person is today — not where they "should" be.
